Wonderful Kashmir Tour
Day 1: Arrival Amritsar
Upon arrival at Amritsar Airport /Railway station meet and Greet and transferred to a hotel in Amritsar. Afternoon visit Indo-Pak, Attari Wagah Border to watch Flag Retreat Ceremony- Wagah, an army outpost on Indo-Pak border 30 Kms from Amritsar where the daily highlight is the evening "Beating the Retreat" ceremony. Soldiers from both countries march in perfect drills, going through the steps of bringing down their respective national flags. As the sun goes down, nationalistic fervor rises, and lights are switched on marking the end of the day amidst thunderous applause. Return to hotel. Overnight stay at Amritsar Hotel.
Day 2: Amritsar - Srinagar (480km - 11 hrs)
After breakfast drive for Srinagar. Reach Srinagar in the evening at arrival check in the Hotel or Houseboat. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 3: Srinagar
After Breakfast start your half-day tour of world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (the Abode of love). In the afternoon Shikara ride on The Dal Lake to enjoy the beauty that God has graced this city with which is often compared to Venice. You will get a view of some very interesting places around the Lake. Overnight stay at Srinagar Hotel.
Day 4: Srinagar- Gulmarg- Srinagar ( 112 Kms 2/3 hrs)
After Breakfast drive to Gulmarg, Full day tour of Gulmarg which is one of the most beautiful summer resorts in the valley. It is also popular for its golf course (in summer), the highest in the world, and skiing during the winter season. Enjoy the splendor of nature and the snowy mountains. One can have a Gondola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to Khalinmarg In the evening return to Srinagar. Overnight at Hotel in Srinagar.
Day 5: Srinagar - Sonmarg - Srinagar (196 Kms 3/4hrs)
After Breakfast Drive to Sonamarg, Full day excursion to Sonmarg which is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. Sonmarg 2690 Mtrs (Meadow of Gold). One can ride on horse to visit Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains around the year and Sonmarg is known as the Gateway of Ladakh. In the evening return to Srinagar. Overnight at Srinagar Hotel.
Day 6: Srinagar - Pahalgam- Srinagar ( 186 Kms 3/4hrs)
After Breakfast full-day excursion to Pahalgam 2440 Mtrs (vale of Kashmir) on the way visit Saffron fields, Avantipur ruins, and Anantnag Sulpher spring. Pahalgam is the most famous place in the Indian Film Industry. Enjoy the nature charm of the valley. In the evening return back to Srinagar. Overnight at Srinagar Hotel/Houseboat.
Day 7: Srinagar
After Breakfast full day at your leisure, enjoy shopping, etc. Overnight at Hotel In Srinagar.
Day 8: Srinagar - Jammu (293 Kms 6/7hrs)
After Breakfast Drive to Jammu and arrive in Jammu in the evening, transfer to Airport/Railway Station for your onward destination.
